Dive into the rich, intricate world of female characters in theatre with this in-depth acting class. Focusing on plays renowned for their complex, flawed, and fascinating women, this course invites actors to explore the depths of human emotion, motivation, and conflict. From iconic roles in classics to groundbreaking modern works, participants will analyze and bring to life characters who challenge conventions, grapple with internal struggles, and navigate dynamic relationships. Through guided scene study, character exploration, and group discussion, this course will help actors uncover what makes these characters so compelling and relatable. Emphasis will be placed on understanding their flaws, vulnerabilities, and strengths, allowing actors to craft authentic and powerful performances.

Whether you’re drawn to emotionally charged roles or sharp-witted heroines, this class will sharpen your skills, deepen your understanding of character development, and expand your appreciation for the richness of women’s stories in theatre.

This acting class is open to all levels, beginner and advanced, and designed to be inclusive and is not limited to women. The scenes used feature roles for both male and female characters, ensuring a diverse range of material that speaks to a variety of experiences. The skills and techniques taught in this class are universally applicable, empowering actors of any gender to deepen their craft and bring authenticity to their performances.
